Odisha CM Launches Krushi Vidya Nidhi Yojana for Farmers’ Children
In a significant move to support the education of farmers’ children, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi launched the Krushi Vidya Nidhi Yojana at the Gangadhar Meher University auditorium on the occasion of the Nuakhai festival The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to the children of beneficiaries under the CM-Kisan Yojana for their higher technical education.
Scholarship of Rs 2,00,000 for Each Student
Under the Krushi Vidya Nidhi Yojana, the Odisha government will offer a scholarship of Rs 2,00,000 to each student for their higher technical education. CM-KISAN Yojana and Krushak Odisha Unified Portal Launched
In addition to the Krushi Vidya Nidhi Yojana, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi also launched the CM-KISAN Yojana and the Krushak Odisha Unified Portal during the event. The CM-KISAN Yojana is a direct income support scheme for farmers, while the Krushak Odisha Unified Portal aims to provide a comprehensive platform for farmers to access various government schemes and services.
